Undergraduate Program
The university core competency required for undergraduate students includes humanistic spiritual cultivation, knowledge of health and technology application, and professional skills , while the curriculum focuses on the development of students’ basic core skills. The graduation credits of the university department are 128 credits, including 32 credits for the school-based general course, 6 credits for the core course of the college, 68 credits for the professional course plan and 28 credits for the elective course, for a total of 96 credits.
Our undergraduate program provided technical medicine, health care and practical skills and other areas of expertise in the curriculum selection, in order to enhance the professional ability of students. Module courses include: bio-technical medicine module and health-care technology module two subjects professional modules to meet the needs of students with diverse choices, to help students become more competitive in employment. Graduate Program
Graduate curriculum design is structured on “professional knowledge” and “thematic discussions”, the former aiming to lay a solid professional theoretical foundation and the latter aiming to foster research skills and creativitiesd. In addition, graduate students are required to complete a 6-hour academic research ethics education course at the Taiwan Academic Ethics Education Resource Center, while completing a 0.5-credit course in academic ethics. he total graduation credit is 30 credit hours including 17 credits for the requirements , 8 credits for electives, and 6 credits for mastetthesis.
The courses are designed to meet the education goals and are described as follows: Biomedicine related courses: Specialties in Cell Biology, Biostatists, Immunology, Natural Chemistry, Genetic Engineering, Molecular Medicine, Molecular Testing, Tissue Engineering, Nanomedicine, Pharmaceutical Dynamics, Protein Engineering and Cell Engineering. Health technology related courses: Molecular Health Care Agents, Enzyme Engineering, Biochemical Industry, Plant Chemistry Technology and Patent Practice and Marketing Management.
